Polypropylene rope or PP rope has a density of 0.91 meaning this is a floating rope. This is generally manufactured using monofilament, splitfilm or multifilament fibres. Polypropylene rope is commonly used for fishing and other general marine applications. It comes in a 3 and 4 strand construction and as an 8 strand braided hawser rope. The melting point of polypropylene is 165°C.

Our PP rope comes in 200 metre and 220 metre coils. Commonly in white color and most common applications are bolt rope, nets, mooring, trawl net, furling line, marine etc. The melting point is 165°C with relative density 0.91. It is a floating rope and elongation at break 20%.

PP rope has good brasion and fatigue resistance. It is slow water absorption and high UV resistance. The contraction is relatively low and the splicing is easy depending on torsion of rope.
