The Makita DTW181 is an LXT 18v cordless impact wrench with a 12.7mm (1/2") square drive and is part of the new range of “sub compact” 18v cordless tools from the LXT range that are lightweight and compact. The brushless motor requires no maintenance and is more efficient than a brushed motor, increasing battery run time by around 30%. Meaning less downtime charging batteries and twin LED lights illuminate the work piece when the trigger is operated.

Reverse rotation auto stop mode: This mode works only with pulling the trigger fully in counter-clockwise rotation. When the bolt/nut gets loosened enough, the tool stops the impact and rotation in 0.2 seconds.

With a 1/2” square drive suitable for all standard 1/2” impact sockets this unit has an impressive maximum nut busting torque of 330Nm and is suitable for bolts M8-M16 (standard bolt) and M6-M12 (high tensile bolt) and the rubber moulded handle is ergonomic and comfortable for prolonged use.
