The Makita DPO500 125mm 5" random orbit polisher has a fully brushless motor for increased runtime and longer life. Its finishing mode makes it easier to work fine polishing by keeping a fixed torque and controlling rotation. It features a variable speed control which can be changed by turning the speed adjustment dial from 1 to 5, allowing the user to select the ideal speed to suit the material and the compound they are polishing.

Additional performance features include an electronic controller that automatically applies additional power to maintain constant speed even under load and also provides soft start for smoother start-ups and longer gear life.

• Selectable two rotation mode: normal mode for rough polishing & finishing mode for fine polishing
• Normal mode is orbital action with forced rotation of the pad for rough polishing such as surface treatment
• Finishing mode is orbital action with free rotation of the pad for fine polishing
• Setting up RPM in the full speed is easy by a variable speed dial
• Variable speed control by trigger enables to adjust RPM during opration

• Easy-to grip head not only for bonnet work but for sideway work
• Detachable, rubber type vent dust covers prevent wool fibers from entering into the motor
• Anti-restart function engineered to prevent motor start up when battery is inserted with switch locked on
