The Makita DSC121 18v brushless threaded rod cutter is a cutting edge piece of technology from Makita that used hydraulics to cut through threaded rod with ease. This machine has a battery protection system that provides over-discharge protection for enhanced battery cycle life and overall battery life.

Other features include a battery fuel gauge, reverse switch and a high-efficiency brushless motor. This tool can cut up to 500 M12 steel rods on a single battery charge (6Ah).

The DSC121 is able to cut Mild or Stainless Steel: W5/16, W3/8, W1/2, M8, M10, M12.
