The Makita DJV181 is the first barrel handle cordless jigsaw by Makita powered by 18v Li-ion batteries and featuring a brushless motor for longer battery run time. With a rigid aluminium base that bevels 0-45° both left and right, a blower function that clears the cutter line of debris and an improved dust extraction hose joint to keep airborne dust to the minimum you can easily see why this is a first class jigsaw for professional use.

Other features include a tool-less blade change, variable speed control, soft start and a "soft no load" function that automatically reduces the motor speed during idling to prolong battery life and reduce vibration. A rubber moulded handle ensures a firm grip and twin LED lights illuminate the cutting line and a 3 stage orbital action allows fine, curved cutting to fast coarse ripping.
